The Green Blue’s energetic and knowledgeable campaign manager has led the organisation for the last five years and her success can be measured by the number of boatowners who want to ask The Green Blue’s advice at shows, as well as by the fact that it has the ear of those in power. Her efforts won recognition outside the marine world when she was given the Special Recognition Award at the British Association for Sustainable Sport’s annual awards. The award goes to an individual who goes “above and beyond to drive the sustainability agenda in their sport”.
