Dylan Fletcher was promoted to lead driver of the Emirates GBR Sail GP boat at the expense of Giles Scott at the end of INEOS Britannia’s near miss at taking the America’s Cup, where Fletcher also replaced Scott as co-driver to Ben Ainslie. All of these shenanigans evidently pile the pressure on an individual but Fletcher responded in typically ebullient fashion and the Sail GP team has recorded some memorable victories with him at the helm.
